tomorrow. Steve Elliott and Frank O'Grady are riding from Wyong to Brisbane to raise funds for a new social group for young people with disabilities.

MORPETH MOUTHWATERER

IF you like it hot, head to Morpeth this weekend for the Meltdown 'fiery food' festival.

Q&A Stephen ROSE

Typical weekend: Usually a ride on my Harley-Davidson to the vineyards for brunch or lunch.

And watching the Knights play footy.

Fantasy weekend: We're hoping to ride from San Francisco to Milwaukee for Harley-Davidson's 100th anniversary celebrations in the US next year.

Weekend read: Those legal thrillers by John Grisham.

Weekend feed: Doyle's at Watsons Bay is a favourite. The ferry ride across Sydney Harbour is almost as good as the food.

Weekend to remember: We really enjoyed riding around Tasmania. For some reason, they don't seem to have pot-holes. It was also fun doing the Great Ocean Road in Victoria.

Weekend to forget: Any weekend that the Knights lose.

- Stephen Rose is an architect who doubles as

president of the Newcastle West Rotary Club,

which will hold its inaugural food and wine

festival tomorrow on the Warners Bay Foreshore.
