True 24 hours
Charles Stone III developed this two-and-a-half minute film that unwittingly became the inspiration for the Budweiser "Wazzup" television ads. It describes itself as an ode to the uncomplicated bonds of male friendships and says that, "within two minutes, the meaning of life is explained". I wouldn't go that far, but it does take a humorous look at the simplistic bonding behaviour of males.

SATURDAY
Ice Dream 24 hours
Thank heavens they returned. One of the saving graces of the 2002 Winter Olympics has been the irreverent humour of Roy and H. G. and the roasting of their guests during a rather lacklustre couple of weeks, punctuated - for Australia - by Steven "last-man-standing" Bradbury's unlikely gold medal win, plus, two days later, Alisa Camplin's gold in the women's aerial skiing. Before the Games end tomorrow, jump online and support Roy and H. G.'s dubious bid for Smiggin Holes to host the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The Hands of Orlac 24 hours
It's tempting to say they don't make B-grade movies like they used to but that's taking away from some of today's celluloid offerings masquerading as Hollywood blockbusters. One movie that does give B-grade films of old their well-earned reputation is The Hands of Orlac. Made in 1960, the film stars Christopher Lee, who more recently contributed to The Lord of The Rings. After pianist Paul Orlac is involved in an accident, doctors transplant the hands of a killer on to their patient. 80 minutes.
